Andrew M. Buchanan

World War II Army veteran

Andrew M. Buchanan, 89, of 85 Chapel St., Mt. Morris, died Jan. 14, 2006 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. He was born the son of Andrew and Agnes (Mackey) Buchanan on July 28, 1916 in Groveland. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1978 he was employed as a Tailor at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for 48 years. He was a member of the United Church of Mt. Morris, CSEA and the American Legion Post 1341 in Sonyea. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lelia; two sons; Paul (Paula) Buchanan of Farmington and Gary (Debra) Buchanan of Mt. Morris; five grandchildren, Robert, Stephanie, Andrew, Bridgett and Peter. Friends called Monday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris. Memorial services were held Tuesday at the United Church of Mt. Morris with the Rev. Stephanie Sauve officiating. Private interment at Mt. Morris Cemetery. Eric J. Keenan

Eric J. Keenan, 21, of Springwater/York died suddenly January 11, 2006 in York. He was born Aug. 6, 1984 in Batavia to Charles D. Keenan and Shonalee Schwartz. Eric loved the outdoors, hunting, and his dogs. He worked construction for GT Booth Inc., Leicester. Eric is survived by his mother Shonalee (Dennis) Schwartz of Springwater; father, Chuck Keenan of Retsof; sister, Danielle Schwartz of Springwater; grandparents Carol (Gene) Schmelzer, Jack Keenan of Dansville, Gladys Keenan of Caledonia, Art and Mary Bernecker of York; uncles, John (Bonnie), Michael (Wendy), David (Miranda) Keenan, Marty (Karen) Schwartz; aunts, Kim Howe, Dawn (Doug) McDonald, Carolee Metz, Linda (Larry) Minch; and many cousins. His grandfather, David Artlip predeceases Eric. Friends called Monday at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Edward Arthur Stockings

World War II Army veteran

Edward Arthur Stockings, 80, of 42 Grove St., Mt. Morris, died Jan. 13, 2006 at his home. He was born the son of Arthur and Neva (Nichols) Stockings on July 27, 1925 in Leicester. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1991 he was employed at Specialized Printing forms in Caledonia for 10 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Mt. Morris American Legion and VFW Posts and the Active Hose Company of the Mt. Morris Fire Department since 1958. He is survived by his companion of 36 years Geraldine Brignall of Mt. Morris and her two daughters Lynn (Thomas) Passamonte of Mt. Morris and Mary Lou Williams of Conesus Lake; three grandchildren, Mark (Sally) Passamonte and Amy (Jim) DiSalvo, all of Canton, N.Y. and Shelby (Chris) Webster of Mt. Morris; six great grandchildren, Jamie, Natlie and Jillian DiSalvo, Chloe and Maggie Passamonte, all of Canton and Carter Webster of Mt. Morris; one sister Agnes Hughes of Rochester; two nephews, Edward Hughes of Rochester and Ralph Church of Horseheads; one great niece Katrina. No prior calling. Memorial Mass was held Monday at St. Patrick's Church. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice, Mt. Morris Library or the Mt. Morris Ambulance Fund. Arrangements by the John W.
