Perry Michael Beach

Former Livonia resident

Perry Michael, 55, of Roundoaks Circle, Ashland, Va., formerly of Livonia, died March 31, 2005 at his home. He was born the son of Perry and Ruth Beach Kiefer on Oct. 29, 1949 in Livonia. He was employed by AMF Bowling Worldwide, in Mechanicsville, Va. as a Senior Maintenance Technician. He is survived by his wife Connie (Gascon); children, Terry (Christine) Beach, Raeann Beach and Andrea Beach; brothers, Bill (Linda) Beach, John Beach,; sisters, Kathy (Jack) Benson and Laurie Candie; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Monday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15, Livonia where services were held Tuesday with the Rev. David Hotchkiss officiating. Caroline M. Gullo

Mt. Morris resident

Caroline M. Gullo, 84, of 39 Genesee St. in Mt. Morris, died April 3, 2005 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Megliore) LaGeorge on April 8, 1920 in Mt. Morris. She was a life long resident of Mt. Morris. Prior to her retirement in 1975 she was employed at Craig Developmental Center for over 25 years as a laundress. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris. She was predeceased by her husband Charles in 2000. She is survived by her children, JoAnn Coultry of Geneseo, Natalie Young of Lorton, Va.; six grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) McCaughey of Geneseo, Lisa (Martin Smith) Coultry and Jack Coultry, both of Webster, Alyssa, Lindsay and Jessica McCaughey, all of Lorton, Va. two great grandchildren, Michael and Sean McCaughey, both of Geneseo; one brother Joseph (Nina) LaGeorge of Mt. Morris; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris where prayers will be said Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Theresa A. Guzzardi

Mt. Morris resident

Theresa A. Guzzardi, 83, of Murray St. in Mt. Morris, died March 31, 2005. She was born the daughter of Angelo and Josephine Gioia DeCaro on Sept. 9, 1921 in Mt. Morris. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris and was predeceased by her husband Vito in 1998. She is survived by her children, Nathan (Joanne) Guzzardi of Mt. Morris, Ross (Julie) Guzzardi of Dansville, Deborah (Mark) Terry of Mt. Morris, Vita (Andy Schneider) Abele of Rochester; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother Larry Gerace of Mt. Morris; and sister Fran Cirri of Rochester; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Sunday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St., (Route 408), Mt. Morris, where prayers were offered Monday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt. Morris. Andrew G. Macauley

Former Town of Groveland Supervisor

Andrew G. “Andy” Macauley, 86, a retired dairy farmer and co-founder of Merrimac Farms in Groveland, died March 28, 2005 at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. Mr. Macauley was a resident of East Groveland Road. He is survived by his wife of 66 year Ruth Pyle Macauley of Mt. Morris; son Tom (Georgia) Macauley of Groveland; daughters, Sandra Macauley of Groveland, Patricia Macauley of Geneseo; grandchildren, Brian (Bridget) Macauley of Florida, Dean Macauley of Groveland, Brenda Peters of Groveland, Craig (Alison) Macauley of Geneseo, Sheila (Scott) Cripps of Geneseo, Troy Staley of Groveland, Glenn (Mary Catherine) Staley of Geneseo, Sarah (Michael) Kamm of Mendon; 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born Dec. 18, 1918 in East Meadow, N.Y. on Long Island, the son of Thomas and Maude (Smith) Macauley. He was a former Supervisor for the Town of Groveland. He and his brother Tim started Merrimac Farms Inc. in 1946. Andy was a former member of the Groveland Kiwanis Club and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston County. Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home March 30. Funeral service were held March 31 at Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo with Rev. Kathryn Stimson officiating. Interment, Central Presbyterian Church Urn Garden. Memorials may be made to Geneseo Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 428, Geneseo NY 14454.

William F. Spezzano

World War II veteran

William F. “Bill” Spezzano, 78, of Main St. in Wadsworth, died April 3, 2005 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He is survived by his wife Margaret Kearns Spezzano; two sons, Gregory (Barb) Spezzano of Piffard, William J. (Mary) Spezzano of Livonia; grandson Patrick Spezzano of Livonia; sister Gloria (Walter) Purtell of Retsof; niece Gail MacCollam of Retsof; step grandchildren, Leigh (Ryan) Swede and family of Pavilion, Stephanie and Jennifer Greer of Leicester; several additional nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born Feb. 22, 1927 in Rochester the son of William F. and Philomena Feolo Spezzano. Bill was a graduate of York High School. He then served in the U.S. Army during World War II from July 5, 1945 to Dec. 17, 1946. He also attended Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a retired general contractor having worked with his father as William J. Spezzano and Sons Contracting in Wadsworth. He was a member of VFW Post 634 in York and the Cuylerville Sportsman's Club. He was a member of St. Lucy's Church in Retsof. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday, April 6 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof with Father Daniel McMullin officiating. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Retsof Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 92, Retsof NY 14539.
