Alice M. Fisher

Alice M. Fisher, 53, a dedicated distribution clerk for Celltech in Rochester, NY where she worked for 32 years, died Friday, July 13, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She resided at 172 Greyston Lane in Rochester. She is survived by 2 sons Guy Barker of Nunda, NY, Michael Barker of Rochester, NY, 2 grandchildren Guy Barker Jr. of Nunda, NY, Alexis Barker of Nunda, NY, sister Bonnie (Mariano) LoVerde of Leicester, NY, brother Lester Fisher of Erie, PA, several nieces and nephews. She was born June 3, 1948 in Westfield, NY the daughter of Lyman and Lucille (Morse) Fisher. Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1400 N. Winton Rd., Rochester, NY 14609. Graveside services were held Wednesday at Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.

Mark A. Hazlett

Mark A. Hazlett, 38 of Palm Bay, Florida (formerly of Buffalo, New York) died Monday, April 23, 2001 at Holmes Regional Medical Center (Melbourne, Florida). He was born November 5, 1982 in Springville, New York. Mr. Hazlett was an avid Star Trek fan and collector. He is survived by his mother Alice Griffin (Harold) of Sebastian, Florida: his father Rev. F. Ray Hazlett (Bonnie) of Williamsville, New York; two brothers, Thom Hazlett (Rhonda) of Albany, Georgia and Rev. Dr. Timothy Hazlett (Lori) of Livonia, New York; one niece; Britney and three nephews; Bryon, Alex, and Andrew. Memorial service to be held Saturday, July 21, 2001 at Williamsville United Methodist Church at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 3871 Harlem Drive, Suite 11 Buffalo, NY 14215 in Mark Hazlette's memory.

Grace B. Helmbold

Grace B. Helmbold age 82 of Avon formerly of Englewood, Florida died Sunday July 15, 2001 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born the daughter of Paul and Catherine Kirchner Burghardt on March 20, 1919. She was a loan servicer at Eastman Savings and Loan in Rochester. In her years in Englewood, FL. she was a member of the Englewood Women's Club, the Englewood Garden Club, Mary Martha Circle at Christ Lutheran Church, Pairs and Spares at Christ Lutheran Church, Amaranth #50 in Port Charlotte, FL, Member of A.A.R.P. Englewood Chapter #1344. Mrs. Helmbold moved to the Florida area in 1977. She is survived by her husband Frederick Wm. Helmbold of Avon, her sons Frederick Wm. (Lynne) Helmbold of Avon, Richard P. Helmbold of Rochester, Sister Gertrude Clickner of Troy, NY. Grandchildren Kristen (Dennis) Brechko, Fritz (Lori) Helmbold, Jennifer, Matthew, John and Daniel Helmbold. Great granddaughter Amanda Brechko. Several nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Friends joined the family at the home of her son Frederick Helmbold, Jr. 6275 East Avon Road, Avon, NY on Tuesday. Robert Wayne Kretchmer (Dutch)

Robert Wayne Kretchmer (Dutch), 53, died suddenly July 5 in Missouri. He was a graduate of Lima High School. He joined the Marines after graduation and was a Vietnam War veteran. He resided in Eldridge, Missouri with his son, Dutcher. He was an excellent welder and loved to fish with his son. He is survived by his loving family; daughters, Vanessa Lynn Wells (Brian), Terra Lou, Heidi Michelle Drake (Jim), Tabitha Maria and his son, Robert Wayne Jr.; his mother, Carolyn Martini of Conesus; his father and stepmother, Robert Henry (Mary) of Prattsburgh; brother and sister-in-law, Jim (Suanne); sister and brother-in-law, Char (John); stepbrothers, Billy (Sharon), Johnnie (Patty), Eddie (Karen), Bobbie (Donna) and stepsister Susan; grandmother Leapha Kretchmer of Henrietta; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins. An open house and picnic will be held for family and friends to come and share their memories at the home of Jim and Sue Kretchmer, 5465 Partridge Corners Rd., Conesus, N.Y. on Sunday, July 29, at 3 p.m. Contributions may be made to the family to help his children.

Marion C. Rumfelt

Marion C. Rumfelt “Jane” age 84 died Wednesday July 11, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born the daughter of Michael and Fern Thurston Connolly on May 23, 1917 in Rochester, NY. She was a member of the Hemlock Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2000. She is survived by her sons David (Carolyn) of CA, Douglas (Bonnie) of Hemlock, Dennis (Vicki) of Scio. 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brother Daniel (Barbara) Connolly of Hemlock. Sisters in law Norma Rumfelt of Livonia Center, Dora Thompson of Mount Morris and brother in law Richard Rumfelt of Alaska. Several nieces and nephews. Friends called Saturday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Route 15, Livonia where funeral services were held with the Rev. David Hotchkiss officiating. Burial Union Cemetery, Livonia. Robert M. VanDuzer

Robert M. VanDuzer, 38, of 8420 Alpaugh Road, Wayland, died Sunday (July 8,2001) unexpectedly while driving his truck in Penna. Robert was born Dec. 27, 1962, the son of Charles and Charlotte VanDuzer, residing his early life in Webster. He married the former Deborah Crittenden on June 18, 1988 in St. Ritas Church in Webster, and has resided the past two years in Wayland. A former employee of the Town of Gates Highway Department, he was employed the past 14 years for Wegmans as a supervisor and the past two years as a truck driver for Wegmans. He was a past member of Gates Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; two daughters, Jennifer and Rebecca VanDuzer, both at home; his parents, Charles and Charlotte VanDuzer of Bradenton, Fla.; his paternal grandmother, Pearl VanDuzer, also of Bradenton, Fla.; two brothers, Richard and Ronald VanDuzer, both of Florida; mother and father-in-law, Richard and Mary Crittenden of Webster; two brothers-in-law, Richard Jr. (Jean) Crittenden and Michael (Christine) Crittenden, all of Webster; one sister-in-law, Amy Crittenden of Winchester, Va.; and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends called on Wednesday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples Street, Wayland. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday in St. Josephs Church, Wayland. Interment was at St. Josephs Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family for an education fund to be set up for Robert's daughters; Jennifer and Rebecca VanDuzer.
