David W. Baier

Carpenter

Geneseo/Conesus - David W. Baier, 48, died Sept. 10, 2004 in Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born in Arlington MA the son of Howard and Linda Lord Baier. He was a self-employed carpenter specializing in trim work. He is survived by two sons, Luke and Ian Baier of Avon, parents, Howard and Linda Baier of Jamison, Pa.; two brothers, James (Anne) Baier of Morristown, NJ and William (Dee) Baier of Quakertown, Pa.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior calling hours. Private Funeral Services at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo NY 14454. Charles M. PaPiana

Mt. Morris resident

Charles M. LaPiana, 75 of 33 Chapel Street in Mt. Morris, died suddenly Sept. 14, 2004 at his home. He was born the son of Anthony and Ann (Mistretta) LaPiana on April 19, 1929 in Mt. Morris. Prior to his retirement in 2000 he was employed by St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt. Morris since 1980. He had also worked for the Laborer Union in Rochester. He was a member of St. Patrick's church in Mt. Morris and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his five children, Anthony (Madelyn) of Groveland, Thomas, James and Randy, all of Mt. Morris and Trisha of Geneseo; seven grandchildren; his mother, Ann LaPiana of Mt. Morris; several cousins and many dear friends. No prior calling. Prayers will be held Friday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408) in Mt. Morris followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 a.m with the Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Cemetery. Dorothy C. Mustari

Geneseo resident

Dorothy C. Mustari, 88, died Sept. 9, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Guy Mustari in 1977. She worked at Mann's Jewelers in Geneseo and owned her own alteration business and was a great quilt maker. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, former owner of Dot's Diner in Geneseo. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Curtis of Columbia, MD. and Monica Stone of Caledonia; one son Roger Mustari of Punta Gorda, Fla; one granddaughter Kaitlyn Curtis of Columbia, Md. Calling hours were held Saturday at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo. Funeral Mass was held Monday at St. Mary's Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Center of Highland Hospital, Rochester NY or Livingston County Humane Society.
