Helen M. Braccio

Helen M. Braccio, 86, of 4739 Morganview Rd. in Geneseo, formerly of Endicott, N.Y., died Sept. 20, 2002 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She was born Sept. 25, 1915 to Francis and Mary Petrivi in Olyphant, Pa. She worked at Ideal Hospital in Endicott as an RN. She was a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army as a nurse. She is survived by her husband, Louis Braccio of Geneseo, formerly of Endicott; daughters, Mary (Richard) Young of Lancaster, Pa. and Lucille (Geoffrey) Staley of Geneseo; son Joseph (Pamela) Braccio of Orchard Park, N.Y.; grandchildren, Rachel and Alison Staley of Geneseo, Carmen and Elena Braccio of Orchard Park; and many nieces and nephews. No prior calling. A private funeral service was held at St. Maryıs Church in Geneseo with Father Dan McMullin officiating. A Memorial Mass will be said in Endicott at a time to be announced. Burial, St. Maryıs Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo NY 14454.

Elizabeth Carleton

Elizabeth Carleton, 90, of Winter Haven, Fla., died Sept. 20, 2002 at Winter Haven Hospital, in Winter Haven, Fla. She was born Dec. 12, 1911 in Welch, W.Va. She moved to Florida from New York in 1956. She was a retired secretary for Birds Eye Foods in Mt. Morris and worked for the Ledger Newspaper as a switchboard operator in Lakeland, Fla. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Stevens of 129 Alachua Dr., Winter Haven, Fla. 33884; two granddaughters and one great grandson. A graveside service was held Sept. 24 at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale, Fla.

Donna J. Fox

Donna J. Fox, 64, of 981 Castlewood Dr., Conway, South Carolina, formerly of East Ave., Wayland, passed away Sept. 17, 2002 in Conway after a short illness. She was born April 20, 1938, the daughter of Harold and Sarah (Cano) Duclos. She resided her early years in Naples, N.Y. and spent the majority of her life in Wayland. Donna married Charles Fox July 18, 1959 at St. Josephıs Church in Wayland. In August 1996, Donna and Charlie moved to Conway where they spent their remaining years together. Donna was a former communicant of St. Josephıs Church and also enjoyed time as a volunteer for St. Josephıs School. Upon moving to Conway, Donna became a communicant and active member of St. James Church. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie in 1999. She is survived by her son Douglas (Catherine) Fox of Englishtown, N.J.; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Fox, Sara Fox and Samuel Fox, all of Englishtown; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family called Sept. 22 at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St. in Wayland. A prayer service was conducted at the Funeral Home Monday followed by the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josephıs Church in Wayland with Father Steven Kraus officiating. Timothy ³Floyd² Lindsay

Timothy ³Floyd² Lindsay, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Livonia, died Sept. 2, 2002 at the age of 51 after a long illness. He was born the son of Floyd and Shirley Bishop on May 8, 1951. He was a graduate of Livonia Central School in 1969. He moved to Florida in 1970. He is survived by his mother Shirley Bishop Lindsay of Livonia; sisters, Shirley Dobrowolski of Florida, Barbara Briggs of Farmington; several aunts, uncles and cousins; four nephews and two nieces; one grand nephew and a large extended family. Friends called Tuesday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15 in Livonia where funeral services were held Wednesday. Anna L. Martin

Anna L. Martin, 82, of Conesus, died Sept. 23, 2002 at her home. She was born the daughter of Roy and Fanny Tallman Williams on Oct. 23, 1919 in Mt. Morris. She was predeceased by her grandson Randy Little, granddaughter Jeannie Kelly and great granddaughter Courtney Livermore. A special thanks to the nurses at Clinton Crossing Dialysis Center, Doctors Sloand and Schiff and the Livingston County Hospice Nurses. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ross of Conesus, Sharon (Doug) Hirschman of Wyoming, Carol (Harold) Livermore and Linda (Mark) Robinson of Mumford, Wilma Sue Martin of Conesus and Debbie (Pat) Kelly of California; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Joyce Williams of Dansville; special friends, Jayne Pfluke and Ruth Jordan of Conesus; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Tuesday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15 in Livonia where funeral services were held Wednesday. James A. Mistretta

James A. Mistretta, 77, of 7 Grove St., Mt. Morris died Sept. 20, 2002 at home. He was born the son of Phillip and Lena (Firoella) Mistretta on July 10, 1925 in Mt. Morris. He was employed as a special education teacher for over 30 years. He retired in 1984 from Mt. Morris Central where he had taught since 1966. He had also taught at School #9 in Rochester and LeRoy Central. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. Prior to teaching he worked on the Mt. Morris Dam, was night foreman at Curtis Burns in Leicester and had taught at Craig Developmental Central in Sonyea. He was a member of St. Patrickıs Church in Mt. Morris, former member at Holy Angels Church in Groveland. He was an avid fly fisherman. He is survived by his four children, Kathy D. Hadsell of Mt. Morris, Gary Mistretta of Wayland, Terry (Joanne) Mistretta and Lisa (Michael) Flickner, both of Mt. Morris; three grandchildren, Wayne, Ashlee and Phillip; one great granddaughter Kiara Lee; three sisters, Anna LaPiana of Mt. Morris, Rose Tarvers of Kansas City, MI and Josephine Redden of Geneseo; many nieces and nephews including Dolores Wacholder of Groveland. He was predeceased by his wife Jane in 2001 and four sisters, Jennie Spezzano, Lena Sisson, Mary Vitale and Dorothy Nasca; three brothers, Joseph, Michael and Ross Mistretta. Friends called Monday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris where a memorial service was held Monday evening. Burial in St. Patrickıs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimerıs Association or the National Wildlife Foundation. An American Legion Service was held Monday.

Royal T. Perrin

Royal T. Perrin, 84, of Avon, died on Sept. 22, 2002 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born on Sept. 12, 1918 in Geneseo the son of John Perrin and Ina (Cole) Perrin. Mr. Perrin was an active member of the Avon United Methodist Church for many years. He is survived by his wife of 58 year, Jean E. (Wood) Perrin of Avon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patty Perrin-Sims of Charleston, W.Va., Diane (Richard) Baker of Churchville, N.Y., Sandy (Paul) Berube of Nashua, N.H.; sister Dorothy Woodruff of Avon; six grandchildren, Kimberly Sims, Matthew, Jenny Baker, Christine, Katie, Ryan Berube; several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call Friday 2-4, 7-9 at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St. in Avon. Interment will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Avon Cemetery; Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Avon United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Beman officiating. Annabel C. Root

Annabel Root, 98 of Caledonia, died Sept. 19, 2002 at the Crossroads House, Batavia. She was born Dec. 31, 1903 in Cowlesville, N.Y. to Emer J. and Emma (MacIntyre) Dysktra. Annabel retired from the Village of Caledonia as the Clerk/Treasurer. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Stone Church, Caledonia for 77 years, and served as treasurer. Annabel was awarded the Lionıs Club Caledonia -Mumford Citizen of the Year Award in 1992. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard and Doris of Rochester and Louis and Karen Root of Caledonia; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, a nephew and several nieces. Annabelıs husband, Louis L. Root predeceases her. No prior calling. Friends attended her Memorial Service Saturday at the United Presbyterian Stone Church, 3177 Church St. in Caledonia. Iva E. Saunders

Iva E. Saunders, 89, of East Lake Road, Honeoye, formerly of Wellsville, died Sept. 21, 2002 at F. F. Thompson Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. She was born the daughter of William and Esther Jacox Sadler on Aug. 18, 1913 in Alfred, N.Y. She was a retiree of the Wellsville Cable Company in Wellsville where she was a bookkeeper. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 year Arthur Saunders. She is survived by her children, Robert (Celeste) Saunders of Lima, William (Betty) Saunders of Wellsville, Joan (Terrance) Donahue of Henrietta, Linda (Robert) Rice of Bristol; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Margaret Moynihan of Wellsville; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Tuesday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 8796 Briggs St. in Honeoye where her funeral service was held following calling hours. Burial, Lakeview Cemetery in Honeoye. E. Joyce Stein

E. Joyce Stein, 77, of Caledonia died at her home in Caledonia on Sept. 21, 2002. Joyce was born Nov. 14, 1924 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada to Albert and Ethel (Foster) Lumley. She worked as bookkeeper on the family farm. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Hubert Stein; children, Arlene (Bob) Gall of Wheatland, Richard Stein of Caledonia, James Stein of Caledonia, Robert (Ruth) Stein of Saline, MI, Michael (JoAnn) Stein of Pride, LA, Teresa (Neil) Phelps of Caledonia, Peter (Debbie) Stein of Caledonia, Annette (Richard) Yauney of St.Johnsville, NY, Susan Stein (Frank Resillez) of Key Largo, FL, Sharon (Steve) Tubbs of Honeoye Falls; grandchildren, Craig Kwasney, Lynn Gall, Jessica and Peter Stein, Nikolaus Stein, Shanna (Justin) Boone, Aaron, Christina, Michael Phelps, Andrew, Allison, Kathryn, Joseph Stein, Alexandra, Gregory, Katherine, Margaret Yauney, Phillip Resillez, Chad, Julia, Emily Tubbs; brother, Ray (Rene) Lumley of FL; sister, Jane (Bud) Stein of LeRoy; several nieces and nephews. Jean A. Webb

Jean A. Webb, 85, of Avon, died Sept. 15, 2002 at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. She was born on Oct. 21, 1916 in Geneseo, the daughter of Theodore Andrews and Sarah (Carson) Andrews. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Avon, and a member of the Avon Rebekah Lodge. For many years she was a foster grandparent. She was predeceased by her husband Glenn H. Webb, and son Calvin Webb. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Beverly) Webb of Livonia; AFS son, Klass (Aartje) de Waard of Avon; one sister Helen Bedford of Colorado; brother Walter (Martha) Andrews of Rochester; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours and Funeral Services were held at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. in Avon with the Rev. Timothy Hazlett officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility, Activities Fund, 4600 Millennium Dr., Geneseo NY 14454, in her memory. Interment, Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.

Bradley J. Wheat

Bradley J. Wheat, 55, of Avon and Henrietta, died Sept. 14, 2002 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a long illness. He was born the son of Frank and Sally Silver Wheat on Aug. 22, 1947 in Rochester. Brad was a well known and talented guitarist in Monroe and Livingston Counties for many years. He was a well known signer and song writer in Rochester and Livingston County and helped change the face of music in the Rochester area during the 60s and 70s. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Sally Wheat and a brother, Randall Wheat. He is survived by his wife Martha Callahan Wheat; brother Jeffrey (Pam) Wheat of Saugus, Calif.; sister Nancy Wheat of Rochester; nieces, Jessica and Jill Blankenbush of Rochester. No prior calling. Friends were invited to a celebration of Bradıs life at a Memorial Service on Saturday at the Pinnacle Lutheran Church, 250 Pinnacle Road in Henrietta.
