Frederick M. Buckmann

Livonia/Lima - Frederick M. “Fritz” Buckmann, 81, died Sept. 23, 2005. He is survived by his wife Jessie; children, Kathleen (Nunzio “Augie”) Casillo, Kevan (Sharon) Buckmann, Karen (Terry) Brisbane; grandchildren, Tammy Ruckle, Marc Casillo, Kelly Schrage, Nicolle Findlay, Jessica and Katie Brisbane; four great grandsons; brothers, Lewis (Thelma), Walter and Herman Buckmann; sister, Fredericka Carpenter; close friend and sister-in-law, Louis Dolliver; several nieces and nephews. No prior calling A Memorial Service was held Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Livonia Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livonia Ambulance Fund or to the church. Julia D. Chapple

Retired teacher

Julia D. Chapple, 84, died Sept. 17, 2005. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ed in 2003. She was a retired teacher-librarian at the Rush-Henrietta School. She is survived by her loving children, Dr. Patricia C. Wright and husband Dr. Jukka Jemvall of Long Island, Diane (Mark) Woodhouse of Elmira, Hugh Edward “Ted” Chapple of Avon, Dr. Christopher Key and wife Maureen Shannon Chapple of Los Angeles, Glenn (Kimberley) Chapple of Pittsford, Eileen (Christopher) Scoville of Honeoye Falls; grandchildren, Amanda, Wright, Dylan, Emma and Gregory Chapple, Spencer Scoville; great granddaughter Arianna Wright-Poston. Friends called Wednesday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15, Livonia where services were held Thursday. Frances R. Hughes

Perkinsville - Frances R. Hughes, 93, formerly of 10886 Isaman Road, passed away peacefully at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Health Care Facility in Mt. Morris Sept. 24, 2005. Frances was born April 21, 1912 in Franklinville, N.Y. the daughter of Arthur G. and Myrtle (Milhollen) Blowers. She resided her early years in Franklinville prior to moving to the Perkinsville area when she was a young child. Frances remained in Perkinsville her entire life until moving to Mt. Morris a few years ago. Frances and Raymond Hughes entered into a loving marriage on Aug. 25, 1931 in Naples and together they celebrated over 59 years of marriage prior to Raymond's passing away in October 1990. Throughout the years, Frances was a housewife and homemaker. However, she also enjoyed hanging wallpaper and she was a caterer that cooked for many of the local community and personal events. Some of her specialties included feather bed rolls, lemon bread, banana nut bread and her Christmas dinners. Frances loved making candy as evidenced by her teaching many people how to make it. Crocheting hats, dolls, afghans, mittens and any other item she wanted was also a favorite hobby of hers. Attending and being active in her church was very important to Frances. She was a life-long member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Perkinsville and she was involved with the Church Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Rebecca's Lodge; the Perk-O-Laters; and a member of the Perkinsville Ladies Auxiliary for over 30 years. Frances was a loving wife, mother, and “grandma-on-the-bed that always had the cookies ready” that will truly be missed by her family and friends. Frances was predeceased by her parents; her husband Raymond Hughes; and her sons, Raymond Jr. “Buster” and Donald Hughes; her sisters, Marie Wood, Margaret Campbell and Helen Sahrle; her brother, Andrew Blowers. She is survived by her son Robert Hughes and his wife Bonnie of Perkinsville; grandchildren, Tracy Hughes of Perkinsville, Everett (Shelly) Frank of Hornell, Jodi (Scott) Conrad of Wayland and Rob (Jackie) Hughes of Cohocton; great grandchildren, Jacob and Jeffrey Frank, David and Alicia Kiefer, Brandon and Collin Conrad and Lauren Hughes; special friend, Lil Kleperak of Akron; along with several nieces and nephews. Frances' family and friends called Tuesday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St. in Wayland. Her Funeral Service was celebrated Wednesday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Perkinsville with Rev. Eihlers officiating. Interment and committal prayers followed. Gina A. Nasca

Mt. Morris resident

Gina A. Nasca, 33, of 6 Pine Cone Lane, Mt. Morris, died Sept. 21, 2005, peacefully, at home surrounded by her family after a 26 year battle with renal failure. She was born on Jan. 13, 1972 in Warsaw, N.Y. She had worked at Hilltop Industries in Mt. Morris. She is survived by her mother Rosalie of Mt. Morris; sister Vickie Jo (Matt) Weidman of Dansville; paternal grandparents, Larry and Carole Gerace Sr.; aunts, Vicki Blair, Joette Zangerle and Melody Eastman; uncle Larry (Toni) Gerace Jr., all of Mt. Morris; many dear and loving cousins and friends. Friends called Friday at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris where prayers were said Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Nadeen Patterson Walsh

Geneseo/Livonia - Nadeen Patterson Walsh, 38, of Geneseo, with a smile that could light up a room, died suddenly, Sept. 22, 2005 of a brain aneurysm. A native of Livonia, she graduated from Livonia High School in 1985. She was a home builder in Livingston County for 18 years. She is survived by her husband, Kevin E. Walsh; 14 year old son, Gregory K. Walsh, 11 year old daughter, Meghan N. Walsh; parents, Roy and Mary Patterson; mother-in-law, Marilyn Walsh, step-mother-in-law Paula (Dave) Stukowski of Cleveland; sisters and sisters-in-law, Jill (Jeff) White, Colleen (Geoffery) Rieder of Albuquerque, N.M., Vicki Patterson, Cindy (Ken) Akers, Lisa (Scott) McKay, Ruth (Tony) Fountain of Canisteo, Kimberly (Bill) Clarke of New Hartford, Conn.; brothers and brothers-in-law, Roy Patterson Jr., Robert Walsh, Matthew Patterson, Gerald (Patty) Walsh, Andrew Walsh; aunts, uncles, Leo and Evelyn Patterson, Geraldine VanHee, Janice Mason, Fred and Patricia Leaper; many cousins, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Eugene A. Walsh. Friends called Sunday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route, 15 in Livonia. Funeral Services were held Monday at the Avon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5590 Lake Road in Avon.
