Jane L. Johnston

Livonia - Jane L. Johnston, 77, died Oct. 5, 2006. She was born the daughter of Harry and Eloise Miller Lacey on Sept. 25, 1929 in Lyons, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband William. She is survived by her sons, William (Judy) of Lima, Cliff (Betty) of Conesus, John (Roxanne) of Spencerport, Carl (Linda) of Avon and Don (Sharon), formerly of Livonia; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; her aunt, Anne Lacey of Fairport; sisters-in-law, Helen Johnston of Livonia, Helen Johnston of Geneseo; several nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Services were held at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. in Livonia with Rev. David Hotchkiss officiating. Burial, Lakeview Cemetery in Honeoye. Memorials may be made to the Highland Hospital, Att: Nephrology Dept. (Dialysis), 1000 South Ave., Box 400, Rochester NY 14620.

Dominic L. Leone

World War II Army veteran

Dominic L. Leone, 86, of 72 N. Main St., Mt. Morris, died Oct. 4, 2006 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born the son of Joseph and Nancy (Mazzola) Leone on Oct. 29, 1919 in Mt. Morris. He was a life resident of Mt. Morris. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1981 he was employed as a Machine Operator and National ED in Batavia for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris and the Mt. Morris VFW Post 547 and the Mt. Morris American Legion Post. He was predeceased by his wife Rose in 1998. He is survived by his four children, Dominic “Jay” (Barb) Leone, Butch (Cheryl) Leone, Charles Leone and Roe (Steve) Montemarano, all of Mt. Morris; seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters; brother James (Jen) Leone of Cambridge, N.Y.; sister Sara Macaluso and brother-in-law Matt (Phyllis) Trippi, both of Mt. Morris; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Friday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408) in Mt. Morris where prayers were said Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Morris VFW Post 547. Barbara F. Schlageter

Conesus - Barbara F. Schlageter (Feck), 70, died Oct. 8, 2006 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She was born the daughter of Charles and Catherine Moll Feck on Sept. 12, 1936 in Rochester. She was an Administrative Assistant at the MRB Group. She was predeceased by her husband Richard in 1990 and by her brother, Jack Feck. She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy. Barb was and avid reader and an accomplished knitter. She loved visits with her family at her home on the lake. She was a life long liberal Democrat and was looking forward to voting for Elliott Spitzer in November. She will be missed. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Wendy) Schlageter of Webster, Laurie (John) DeSanto Rochester and Richard (Bennie) Schlageter of Lake Wood, Colo.; four grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Jennifer; brothers, Gerald (Donna) Feck; sister-in-law Blanche Feck; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15 in Livonia where Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. John H. Hayes officiating. G. Carolyn Templeton

Mt. Morris resident

G. Carolyn Templeton, 76, of 14 Grove St., Mt. Morris, died Oct. 6, 2006 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was born on Feb. 12, 1930 in Warsaw, N.Y. She married Warren Templeton on April 14, 1951. He retired as a Reading teacher from Mt. Morris Central School in 1996. She was predeceased by her husband Warren on June 27, 2006. She is survived by five children, Carol (Bill) Masi of Pennsylvania, Jim (Nancy) Templeton of York, Linda Muscarella of Geneseo, Robert (Cookie) Templeton of Mt. Morris, Patty Templeton of Colorado; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Sally Campo of Avon, Georgia (Anthony) Campo of Skaneateles and Gail Lopez of North Carolina; brother George (Kathy) Sherwood of Fairport; many nieces and nephews. Friends called Monday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris where Funeral Services were held Tuesday with the Rev. Neil Frood officiating. Interment, Mt. Kenneth A. Tuttle Jr.

Mt. Morris resident

Kenneth A. Tuttle Jr., 53, of 315 Garden Lane, Mt. Morris, died Oct. 7, 2006 at his home. He was born on Aug. 9, 1953 in Dansville, the son of Kenneth and Frances (Clinton) Tuttle Sr. He was employed for over 15 years as a machine operator for Nalgenunc International in Penfield. He married Karen “Kim” Willson on June 23, 1979. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kim; his parents, Kenneth and Frances Tuttle Sr. of Mt. Morris; one sister Karen A. Tuttle of LeRoy; several aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and cousins. No prior calling. Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 4 p..m at the Elim Gospel Church in Mt. Morris. Burial, Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Springwater. Arrangements by the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408) in Mt. Morris.
