Eleanor H. Diliberto

Retired seamstress

Eleanor H. Diliberto, 87, a retired seamstress at Champion Products in Geneseo, died Nov. 12, 2003 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Mrs. Diliberto resided on Reservoir Road in Geneseo prior to her hospitalization. She is survived by her husband Vito Diliberto; her children, Sylvia (Michael) Mizzena of Vero Beach, Fla., Richard (Myrl) Diliberto of Naples, Fla., Peggy (Dale) Ludwig of Geneseo; grandchildren, Nancy (Larry) Richman of Liverpool, N.Y., Dale Ludwig Jr. of Konosha, Wis., Lisa Diliberto of Rochester; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Brown of Mt. Morris, Angie (Floyd) Placito of Canandaigua; two brothers, Joseph Miceli of Mt. Morris, Serafino (Jennie) Miceli of Warsaw; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence, Charles and Arthur Miceli and her sisters, Grace Coniglio and Rose Polizzi. She was born Dec. 18, 1915 in Mt. Morris the daughter of Paul and Margaret (Mazzarisi) Miceli. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Visitation was held Friday at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Mass was held Nov. 15 at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo with Father Michael Brown officiating. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Ambulance Fund, P.O. Brenda Englert

Former Wayland resident

Brenda Englert, 62, formerly of 9187 Becker Road, passed away at her current residence of 9 W. Main St., Atlanta, Nov. 15, 2003. She was born May 24, 1941 in Maine, the daughter of Wilson and Fernande (Plourde) LaBell. Brenda resided in Maine for about a year prior to moving to the Depew/Lancaster area near Buffalo. She then moved to the Perkinsville area where she grew up and then spent the majority of her life in and around the Wayland/Springwater area. Brenda enjoyed several years in Ocala, Fla. recently before moving back to her current residence in Atlanta. Brenda and Carl “Sonny” Englert entered into a loving marriage on May 30, 1959 at Sacred Heart Church in Perkinsville. Together they enjoyed over 33 years of marriage prior to Carl's passing away in 1992. Brenda and Carl enjoyed raising their only child, Corey Jon, over the years. Corey fondly remembers all of the vacations they enjoyed in Florida over the years and the hours of snowmobiling together. Brenda enjoyed a variety of different hobbies in her lifetime. She was a licensed pilot and truck driver; enjoyed bartending and spent time as a secretary. Mostly though, she was self-employed as a hair dresser working out of her home. She was predeceased by her husband Carl in 1992, her mother Fernande LaBell in 1990 and a brother R. Stephen LaBell in 1991. She is survived by her only child, son Corey Jon Englert of Rochester; her two grandchildren, Bailey Jon and Victoria Elaine Englert of Cape Coral, Fla.; her three brothers, Bertram LaBell of LaGrange, Texas, Darsey LaBell and his wife Betty of Newark, N.Y. and Neil LaBell of Bealton, Va.; along with several nieces and nephews. Brenda's family and friends called Monday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St., Wayland. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Brenda Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Perkinsville. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery in Perkinsville. Contributions in Brenda Englert's memory may be made to the Springwater S.A.V.E.S., (Ambulance Co.) P.O. Box 134, Springwater NY 14560.

Susanne Macy (Harrington) Harrison

Elba/Caledonia resident

Susanne Macy Harrison, 77, of Elba/Caledonia, died Nov. 11, 2003 at her home in Elba after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 22, 1926 in Caledonia to Silvanus J. and Vivian (Hackett) Macy Jr. Susanne attended Rochester Institute of Technology. She enjoyed painting and her family. She is survived by her former husband, Arthur Harrington and their children, Arthur and Diane Harrington of Elba, Barbara and Ben Wilkins of Nunda, Mark and Tammy (Watson) Harrington of Dansville, Lori and Tim Houser of Caledonia; 12 grandchildren, Randy, Aaron, Nicki, Andy, Stephanie, Adam, Travis, Beckie, Matt, Mark, Cameron, Mitchell; 8 great-grandchildren; Ashely, Selena, Nicholas, Dustin, Alex, Morgan, Jordan, Olivia; her sister, Sally Macy Hilliard of Caledonia; four nieces and their children. Her husband, Roger Harrison predeceased Susanne in 1992. Family and friends called Friday at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St. in Caledonia where her Funeral Service was held following calling hours. Interment, Grace Cemetery, Castile, N.Y. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester NY 14620.

Lloyd F. Nolan

Blacksmith

Lloyd F. Nolan, 75, of Belcher Road, Honeoye, died Nov. 14, 2003 in Rochester. He was born the son of Joseph and Verna Short Nolan on April 27, 1928 in Irondequoit. Hew was predeceased by three sons. Mr. Nolan was a blacksmith (farrier for 49 years) working in the area. He was a member of the Watkin-Huppard Masonic Lodge in Penfield for over 25 years, the Shriner's Horse Patrol, the Scottish Rite and the American Legion Post 0771 in Rochester. He was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Irene; his daughter Colleen Allan of Florida; son Michael (Jan) Nolan of New Mexico; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carlinda Field of Bloomfield; brothers, Joseph (Ann) of Florida, Robert (Virginia) of Irondequoit; brother-in-law Jack McDonald of Pavilion; sister-in-law Jacqueline Christ of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. Friends called Sunday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Briggs St. in Honeoye. Funeral Mass was held Monday at St. Mary's Church in Honeoye with the Rev. Richard Shatzel officiating.
