In Memoriam

Theresa M. Remming

Theresa M. Remming, 68, of 6743 Wrights Road, Springwater, died Dec. 1, 2001, in Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville after a long illness. Theresa was born Feb. 25, 1933, in Rochester the daughter of Theodore and Johanna Powers Bernard. A native and resident of Rochester most of her life prior to moving to Springwater 29 years ago. She and her husband Marvin were married April 19, 1952. He survives. Theresa was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wayland. Besides her husband Marvin, she is survived by two sons, Randy (Patricia) Remming of Conesus and Keith (Sally) Remming of Henrietta; four daughters, Sandra Reifenstein of Conesus, Laurie Ann (Peter) Faith of Springwater, Christine (Rick) Madsen and Debra Hart, all of Webster; one brother, Robert (Janet) Remming of Greece; 11 grandchildren, Jeramie, Loni and Kory Reifenstein, Cameron Copeland, Abby and Randi Remming, Matthew and Steven Faith, Diana Hart, Amanda and Tyler Madsen; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends called Tuesday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St. in Wayland. A prayer service was conducted Wednesday at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church. Interment, Whitehaven Cemetery, Fairport, N.Y.

William H. Watson Sr.

William H. Watson Sr., 62, of Millard Ave. in Livonia, died Nov. 26, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born the son of Wilbur and Lillian Sage Watson of Oct. 28, 1939 in Rochester. He was a retiree of the New York State Department of Transportation in East Rochester. He was a member of the Lakeville Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia; his children, William (Judy) Watson Jr. of Livonia, Virginia (William) Lane of Honeoye, James (Tiffany) Watson of Lima; grandchildren, Jessica Lane, Maggie, Jon and Ben Watson; sisters, Marilyn Sheehan of Batavia, Cathy of Newark; brothers, Gordon Pattnod of Batavia and Burt Pattnod of Manchester; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Wednesday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., Route 15, Livonia where funeral services were held Thursday with the Rev. Lauri Craig officiating. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Dialysis Center, 2400 S. Clinton Ave., Rochester NY 14618.

Gladys Wilson

Gladys Wilson, 73, of Avon and Baltimore, Md., died on Nov. 25, 2001 at the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Mrs. Wilson was born April 9, 1928 in Columbia, S.C. She was a retired machine operator at DuBois Plastic Products in Avon. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Wilson in 1994. She is survived by four daughters, Lorraine Turner of Virginia, Gwendolyn Prescott of Rochester, Jeanette Odom of Rochester, Barbara Hubert of California; two stepsons, James Odom of New Jersey and Thomas Odom of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister Geraldine Doscher of North Babylon, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours and Funeral Services were held at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. in Avon. Contributions may be made to the Avon Volunteer Rotary-Lions Ambulance in her memory. Interment, East Avon Cemetery.
