On May 24, 2005, the Town Planning Board endorsed the proposed Planned Development District (PDD) Law. However, after hearing the concerns expressed at the June 9, 2005, public hearing on that law, the Town Planning Board reversed its vote, withdrawing its support for the law until the results of the Comprehensive Master Plan's large public survey could be considered. That survey showed that traffic and over development/poorly planned development were the most common concerns of Geneseo residents.
