For the past 10 years, The Clarion has been an informative, refreshing, and occasionly provocative news source for residents of Livingston County each week. The Clarion's news, sports, feature, and community events coverage has been solid and consistent. Your editorials are somewhat less predictable, reflecting the personal views and whimsy of the publisher in any given week. We may not always agree, but we certainly know where the Clarion stands and that's as it should be.
The Clarion also exhibits a sense of humor. Sometimes you can't tell if it's a regular editorial or a "Blarion" issue. Readers need to pay close attention to separate what is truth and what is fantasy! Is the Full Monty really coming to our town?
All in all, a job well done in accomplishing what a weekly newspaper should do-letting local residents know what's going on in our community. Kudos to all the Clarion staff who have made it happen for a decade. The first 10 years are the hardest. Good luck for the next 10 and keep the faith. And keep a close watch on the guy writing those editorials!
